Description
The Eventuri 991 GT3 RS intake system consists of several components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest standards. Eventuri uses 100% pre-preg carbon fiber with no fiberglass, which means Eventuri can achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain smoother airflow. In addition, the Porsche GT3 RS intake has been designed to offer a more efficient flow path to the engine compared to the OEM airbox. Utilizing Eventuri’s patented Venturi Housing concept, airflow is able to negotiate through the filters with a much less tortuous path, thus reducing the drag of the system. Furthermore, by increasing the overall volume in the intake, the maximum flow capacity has also been improved. Using bespoke filters with an outer diameter of 192mm or 7.5″ boasting a filtration surface area of over 110,000mm^2 each, Eventuri has made maximum use of the available space. Intake air temperatures have also been minimized by ensuring a sealed system as well as using carbon fiber which has a low thermal conductivity coefficient across the wall thickness. The resulting system provides genuine performance gains and a noticeable improvement in throttle response.
